I stumbled across a good book targeted at anyone interested in swapping LS engines.

It's called "How to Swap GM LS-Series Engines" of course and I thought it was a good read for $25 at the local Barnes& Noble. I have no affiliation.

The manual has just been edited, in route and ready for final print! Two have already been sold on the bay for around $50.

......Be Proud.....something you once said may be in this manual!!:D It was made by 944 hybriders for 944 hybriders and very thorough to say the least. Pretty much every page has a professional diagram with measurements accurate to within +/- .001" Now thats nice aint it? The manual has also been peer-reviewed for accuracy i.e. motor mount uprights measurements confirmed by 3-5 people.

Heres a link to a past bay auction... http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=270465806296

Awesome! I stumbled across that auction 30 minutes before it ended and was going to bid but I was unsure who made it and what the credibility was. Now that I know I would love to get a copy when possible.

The guy who wrote this book:
http://www.amazon.com/Build-Modify-Engines-Motorbooks-Workshop/dp/0760335435/ref=pd_sim_b_2

Is working on a similar book. I gave him a lot of information about the Porsche swaps. He's still working on the book, but it sounded like we will definitely get some mentions (though i gave him the information long before RH shat upon our old message board, so some information might be outdated and inaccurate).

Hello boys...

Craig,
This isn't a F/S section, so if you want to move this post, no prob...
I have read the LS book mentioned above...well worth the $$$.

Thanks for the props MK...
something you once said may be in this manual! As the title says..."by people who have converted their own cars"...

The first 25 manuals have been printed as the First Edition, and are already sold.
I will be re-listing the manual on eBay in about a week or so. For now, anyone interested can contact me
directly at gt1scca@gmail.com or through the posts on 944hybrids forum.

The Second Edition will include all revisions, and owners of the First Edition
will receive a revision supplement.
