i guess i will start a build thread. i havent worked on it much lately but i will be on it steady here in a few weeks. i have test fitted the cradle and radiator supports. i got my T56 a few weeks ago and i just ordered my spec stage 3 clutch and pressure plate and my centerforce flywheel. the block is going to the machine shop tomorrow to be freshened up. (boil, hone and deck the block) its been sitting for almost a year in the garage. i do have a question though? has anyone used the GM serpintine pulley set up in their FC? and can you hook the P.S. pump up to the rack with custom lines? i dont need to do this but i have everything already so if its possible i would like to know. i plan on bolting up to see when i stab the motor but if someone knows if it will fit or not before hand it will save me some time. here is a run down of what i am doing.

ENGINE:
1968 (large journal) 327
bored .030
forged crank
forged rods
hyper KB flat top pistons (i know)
.074 thick Cometic head gaskets. 8.6 comp ratio
Pro comp 210cc heads with 64cc chambers and 2.05/1.60 valves
Cam Motion camshaft. dont remember the specs but its like 214/224 @.050
with .525 lift intake .488 exhaust with 1.6 rockers. 114 LSA
1.6 shaft mount roller rockers
Holley stealth ram port fuel injection with Venom 60lbs/hr injectors and boost ref. holley adj FPR and MSD pro billet small cap dis with 6AL box. and a stand alone holley 950 commander ECM and harness.

TRANS:
1994 T56 been upgraded? (i dont understand what this receipt means)
SPEC stage 3 clutch and pressure plate
Centerforce #700107 flywheel. (to mate the older 2pc crank with 93-97 T56)

EXHAUST: home built log style headers with 1 3/4" primaries and 3" log to a T3 flange. fwd facing. need to custom fab the rest of the system

TURBOS:
twin Garrett T3 60mm turbos with .64 A/Rs (hot side)
HKS 50mm gates with 12lbs springs
some cheap 60mm BOV. (we'll see if it works?)

and of course the complete deluxe grannys kit. to many pics to post. go here to see them http://photobucket.com/TTV8RX7sFCProject let me know what you guys think.

i hope so. LOL i test drove one of these last year that a guy was selling. it just had a 350 it it. claimed it was built up but? but as a package it was awsome. so i sold my 89 V8 s10 blazer and my 2000 S10 blazer to buy this car and finance the build. a buddy of mine has a 350Z with a built forged motor and a Greedy twin turbo kit doing 503 at the wheels. it is crazy. my goal is to do 550 at the wheels. if i fall short thats fine but if i end up in the 400 range then i am swapping on a set of T70s and i know i will be over 600 then.

and this is where i am at today. stabbing the motor/trans tomorrow then i am getting off this project for a while to save up a bit more money and to finish the S10 and get it out of the garage. 2 projects at 1 time in a single car garage is a bitch.

I know what you mean about the one car garage. I have a wrecked ferrari 308 in my garage. Another 308 donor shell in my dads garage. And a 924 turbo with a stripped out interior in his driveway. I have to park my poor 944 outside! And forget about the wife's 07 GTI!

im fine. i had safety glasses on. the wheels exploded and shot toward me at an upward angle. hitting my face 1st and throwing my glasses up. felt like i got kicked in the eye. LOL. blood was everywhere. my wife was freaking, my 10 year old daughter was screaming and crying and my 16 year old son was laughing (go figure) at 1st i thought i lost my eye. but after cleaning all the blood its not bad all the blood came from the cut on my face. i just went back out and finished. i HAD to get that motor/trans stabbed today. here is a pic of how the turbos are going to sit. more fabbing and:( cutting need to be done. but im wearing a damn face sheild for that.:D
