So I've been driving around for over a year with no heat or A/C. I can't seem to find time to work on the little things, I just want to drive! Anyways, it's starting to warm up here and I would like to have the A/C working.

My car is an 87 and the engine is an 02 LS1. I have all the mechanical bits in place but I need help with hooking up the controls to the heater valve and A/C compressor.

Intresting. Im actually looking to see what parts of heat/ac i can remove. Need at least heat for defrost.

Your talking about the chevy ac controls right? Electrically theres an ac request wire thatll bridge the porsche and chevy systems which are otherwise independant

Here's a post that really helps with the A/C. I've done the plumbing, but not the wiring yet. Skywalker has, and his is working great, he has an early car, but the concept is the same. I hope this helps.
