Mono wiper for a 944

Does anyone have a line on a Mono wiper for a 944? I was installing my factory wiper set up today, and realized that the motor was bad. Since the entire system is off the car, i figured i would go with a Mono wiper.

mono wiper!? I had heard of MKIV vws using the mercedes mono wiper, was that something that Porsche did? learn something new every day!

My 944 has a uni-wiper! It was by accident. Had a similar problem in that I had to take the motor off the wiper transmission...I didnt mark it before taking it apart.

So, putting it back together, I found that the wipers started vertical and swooped down towards the hood and parked vertical again! Well, I left the passenger side off and installed the largest wiper I could find that fit the windshield to the drivers side wiper arm.

People think its supposed to be that way and say its really awesome....till it rains....the passenger gets pretty anxious cause they cant see. Hhahahaha.

Anyway, for a real conversion, theres places. Search google for "single wiper conversion kit."

I remember about 15 yrs ago this was a big thing. The easy way to do it was to remove the drivers side wiper and then re-clock the pass side so that it parked at 2 o'clock and swept over to about 10 o'clock(looking out from inside the car). It kinda gave it that euro look for 0 cash.

I will do some research and engineering to come up with some thing. It cant be that hard to figure out, i hope!

I remember I put my wiper on wrong on my 944 and it chipped my windshield.
