Default 911 Carrera RS clone w/Subaru EJ20 turbo swap

Ever since getting my 944/LS1 on the road I have been thinking about selling it and getting into something else. I don't know what's wrong with me but I seem to do this with every car I build. As soon as it's on the road I start dreaming of something else to suck up all of my free time and money! Well today I found my next project and you guys will be pleased to know that it will fit right in here at Hybrid9s. Maybe I just thought this thread needed somemore content!

I'm going to pick it up in a couple weeks but here are a couple pictures from the current owner. Since I'm loosing quite a bit of $ on my 944 I figured why not recoupe some of those funds by getting a deal on someone elses project.

Craig,
That 911 looks great. I love the hybrids as you may know. I am a big fan of the 944 LSx, 914 Subaru and 914 LS1, but a 911, isn't that taboo? Noway! I have been thinking of a 912 with a ej25 sti for quite some time. Good Luck and I will follow this one closely.

I picked it up last weekend! I also sold my 944. It went to a good home though, he has big plans for the car. He's planning to build it up for track duty and give Tony G a run for his money.

I've collected a few parts for the engine. I bolted some stuff up to see how it'll look, still need to paint the engine block.

How's it comming along Craig? I love the look of the early RS. It's one of my all time favorites!

I would love one like this!

It's going real slow right now. I've actually just picked up another short term (I hope) project so it will be a while before I get back to this one.

I love the RSRs, that green is perfect. These cars look great in those crazy bright colors. I'm thinking maybe yellow for mine. I might do a similar vent on the hood for my radiator exhaust. I think it looks pretty mean and it's more functional than blowing it out the bottom like most conversions.

I really like this green, Gelb Green code 137. Ialso like Mexico Blue code 336 (or Riviera Blue on the new RS code L39E) and Rubystone Red code L82N. I'm actually looking at those for my car. I decided against Speed Yellow because lately there have been too many yellow cars.....Mustangs and Corvettes around.

Not much progress lately. I did get a couple more engine parts that I test fit tonight.
